The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released October 1, 1974 and was
directed by Tobe Hooper. Starring Gunnar Hansen, Marilyn Burns, and
Edwin Neal. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was loosely based on Ed Gein. Although the film claims its based on a True Story, it is completely fictional. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was one of the most disturbing and graphical depictations of horror of the 70's and 80's.
